Drawing from life or live

I just found out that I really like drawing from a professional model. In my Intermediate Drawing class on Tuesday we had a professional nude model come. At first I felt a little akward but once we started drawing it felt very normal and you realize that you are drawing something beautiful, the human figure. Also you learn so much from the nude about the body, especially not having the distraction of garb and folds of the clothes. Now I would really like to do some nice drawings of my husband and my children. The hard part will be getting any of them to be still long enough for me to do some nice work. I should be able at least to get a few good quick gesture drawings done which I believe would be especially nice with the kids.
